The device alerts our monitoring centre in the UK through a personal alarm unit connected to your phone line. The monitoring centre answers calls 24 hours a day. They will know who you are, where you live and any medical details you have shared. This helps the monitoring centre provide the help you need.
The monitoring centre will try to speak to you over the personal alarm unit’s speaker. They will call your nominated contacts, such as a neighbour or family member, or the emergency services if you need further assistance.
Don't worry! The monitoring centre will call your nominated contacts and if they can't get hold of anyone, they will call the emergency services.
We recommend you have a key safe so that whoever we call can get in to help you. A key safe securely stores a key to your door. And you don't need to worry whether your family or neighbours remember the code. If you share the code with us, we can tell your contacts or emergency services so they can gain access to your home conveniently and safely.
We provide all the equipment you need and the service is easy to set-up. We provide clear instructions or you can choose our We-Connect service and one of friendly advisors will set it up for you.
All you need is a modern phone socket and a mains electricity socket nearby (within 10 feet) to plug the personal alarm base unit into.
So we can get help to you, you will need two keyholders or one keyholder and a key safe. A keyholder is someone who has keys to your home, lives within 20 minutes and can come to your assistance if needed.
The pendant alarm is available with our personal alarm service. There is a one-off registration fee of £69 and a subscription of £3.64 per week. *
Delivery is free of charge. If you would like someone to set-up the service and demonstrate how it works then we offer a We-Connect service that costs an additional £60. *
You can get expert support from our qualified nurses and trained pharmacists by adding our medical helplines to your personal alarm package for an additional 28p per week. *
