A panic button gives you the security to remain in the home you love. If you live alone, a panic button provides a reliable way to call for help when you need it most.
If you are concerned what may happen to you or an elderly relative in an emergency when there is no-one around, then a panic button is an easy-to-use solution that provides peace of mind for you and your family.
A panic button is sometimes also known as a panic alarm, bogus caller button or personal alarm. Our personal alarm service comes with a panic button pendant that can be worn around the neck or wrist.
The panic button is discreet, comfortable to wear and easy to use. You can use it to call for help if you fall, feel unwell or are distressed, for example if you have an unwanted or unexpected caller at your front door.
If you suffer a fall or emergency, press the panic button on the alarm pendant. The device calls our 24 hour monitoring centre through an alarm base unit that is connected to your phone line.
Our monitoring centre is in the UK and answers calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The monitoring centre will know who you are, where you live and any medical information you have chosen to share with us.
When you press your panic button, you can be confident that someone will answer quickly. 98.5% of alarm calls are answered by our monitoring centre within 60 seconds.
When your alarm call is received, the monitoring centre will try to speak to you over the base unit’s speaker. If you are unable to respond, or if further help is needed, they will call your nominated contacts or the emergency services.
If you live alone then your family may not always be able to get to you quickly if you call. Sometimes you may not want to bother them if you feel they are busy with their own lives. Our service provides a way for many older people to remain independent and safe in their homes.
Many of our elderly customers feel more secure and confident with the service. Our customers and their families value the peace of mind that it provides.
If you have a fall, feel ill or suffer some other kind of emergency then help is a press of a button away. We also offer a bogus caller button to help you deal with unwanted doorstep callers.
When you order our personal alarm service, you receive an alarm pendant and base unit. There are no complicated requirements or hidden charges.
