If you need assistance it’s reassuring to know that your family, carers, and if necessary, the emergency services can quickly gain access to your home without causing damage.
A key safe is a secure, weatherproof box to keep a set of keys outside your home.
It can be fitted to any brick built or concrete external wall, outhouse or garage and is designed to hold up to three Yale-type or one deadlock key.
Secure, convenient and discreet
To support our personal alarm service, you need either two keyholders or one keyholder and a key safe. A keyholder is someone who has keys to your home, lives within 20 minutes and can come to your assistance if needed.
This means there is always a way to get help to you, whenever you need it.
The key safe can only be opened using the unique four digit code chosen by you. And the only people who know that code – and can get to the keys – will be you, your personal keyholder and us.
We will only give the code to the emergency services if we call them on your behalf and you’re unable to get to the door. Vital time can be saved in an emergency by having a secure way to get into your home without causing any damage.
We can supply a C500 KeySafe with your personal alarm order. The Supra C500 KeySafe is the original Police accredited key safe that can boast the title 'as secure as your front door'.
It has an easy push keypad, a tough removable rubber cover and is built using heavy gauge, stainless steel and zinc alloy shell with a double wall construction for strength.
If you order a key safe with your personal alarm then we will fit it for you.
If you have chosen our 'We-Connect' installation service, we can fit it for you at the same time as your personal alarm. We’ll advise you of the best position for your key safe and explain how to use it, and set up the code for you.
The We-Connect installation service costs £60 and as well as installing the personal alarm and key safe, we will also show you how to use the alarm and check the system.
