Outdoor key safes for the elderly homes

Secure Key Safes - Police Approved

If you need assistance it’s reassuring to know that your family, carers, and if necessary, the emergency services can quickly gain access to your home without causing damage.

A key safe is a secure, weatherproof box to keep a set of keys outside your home.

It can be fitted to any brick built or concrete external wall, outhouse or garage and is designed to hold up to three Yale-type or one deadlock key.

External key safe for home

Secure, convenient and discreet

To support our personal alarm service, we recommend you have two keyholders who live within a 20 minute distance and can get to you if you need help.

If you don't have a keyholder who lives nearby, then it's essential you have a key safe. This means there is always a way to get help to you, whenever you need it.

The key safe can only be opened using the unique four digit code chosen by you. And the only people who know that code – and can get to the keys – will be you, your personal keyholder and us.

We will only give the code to the emergency services if we call them on your behalf and you’re unable to get to the door. Vital time can be saved in an emergency by having a secure way to get into your home without causing any damage.

Police approved & as strong as a front door

We can supply a C500 KeySafe with your personal alarm order. The C500 KeySafe is the first and only mechanical key safe in the UK to have Police approval that is recognised by many leading insurance companies. It boasts a security rating making it as difficult to attack as a domestic front door.

It has an easy push keypad, a tough removable rubber cover and is built using heavy gauge, stainless steel and zinc alloy shell with a double wall construction for strength.

It costs £95 to add a key safe to your personal alarm order. This includes VAT as key safes are not eligible for zero rating.
